You will not be disappointed with Nama-Stay! The home is lovely and views are spectacular, but it goes beyond that. It’s a very kind and thoughtful place. It’s so peaceful and private you feel like you are miles away even though it’s just a short walk up the road to downtown. There are other units on the property that seem to be thoughtfully placed to maintain the privacy of each space. A market, great restaurants, shops, and amazing coffee (Deep Creek) are just up the road. Catrin created a wonderful experience all the way around.

BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL SETTING WITH FANTASTIC VIEWS...AND WONDERFUL HOSTS!

You know your visit at Nama-stay is going to be fantastic right from the start because Catrin and Jonathon genuinely want you to love your visit to Nama-stay. My response to reserve Nama-stay was answered immediately and the process to secure the house was hassle-free. Upon arrival, you will be stunned at the amazing views and overall peaceful setting of the house. It’s truly amazing! Catrin and Jonathon went to great lengths to ensure its openness without compromising their guests comfort. The open, zen-like feeling allows you to truly appreciate the beautiful views and you will quickly sink into a wonderful feeling of “ahhhhh” - it’s that great! The house itself was extremely clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We also used their shop, [Zion] Guru, to rent gear to walk the Narrows in the middle of winter. The staff was exceptional, our gear worked flawlessly, and we were left a hike that we will never forget. I have stayed in many VRBOs and Nama-stay ranks as one of my favorites!

We love the home which comes with great space for spending time together with friends and family both indoors and outdoors. The views from the back patio were perfect for relaxing after a glorious day of hiking. Catrin had excellent suggestions for exploring Zion and the wonderful restaurant “Kings Landing” was hit for our entire party with excellent food and service. The home is a great place to escape with a peaceful, beautiful and serene environment.

My husband and our two friends were really looking forward to visiting Zion for all of its natural beauty and majestic cliffs. As we approached Nama -Stay we thought, oh no, right in the middle of all of the crowds. What a surprise awaited us!! While this house is close to everything it is a lovely, open serene home with a huge view of the cliffs of Zion and the Virgin river.

Our hosts, Catrin and Jonathan, we gracious, helpful and friendly. One of our friends was looking to rent a wheelchair since her disability made it difficult to take long walks. With this information, Catrin located one that her neighbor was not using and it made the trip all the better!

The home is very well stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals, if you wish. We found that once we were in for the evening we didn’t want to leave. We just watched the sun set on the cliffs, and the moon and stars rise.
We will be returning to Zion and Nama-Stay again!

Nama-Stay was a lovely and perfectly located base for our recent visit to Zion National Park. The house is beautiful and comfortable, immaculate and spacious. Even though the temperatures during our visit were above 100 degrees, the house was always cool. The back deck, with it’s drop dead view of the mountains, was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking, and the location just a short walk from the main Springdale road, with grocery, restaurants and shuttle stop all right there was just terrific. The owners put a lot of though and effort into creating a pleasant experience, and their extensive knowledge of Zion was much appreciated.

A word on the floorplan of the house: all of the bedrooms are really nice, be aware that one of them does not have a wall that extends all the way to the ceiling. Privacy is no problem at all, but it is hard to block out sound. The same goes for the room by the kitchen that has a tv—-a great space with doors that close, though walls do not meet ceiling, so if you need to block sound of tv from main area it is hard to do with this setup. In no way did this arrangement detract from our complete love of this property, but when I traveled with younger children, it was always nice to know these things in advance!

All in all, a wonderful property, and highly recommended!

Six of us spent a week at Nama-stay. We loved the house. It is beautiful, spacious and a very restful place to stay. It is close to the shuttle stop in to Zion. It is within walking distance to all the downtown restaurants and the grocery store. The house itself is a ranch style house. The living room has a cathedral ceiling. One wall is a glass window with a beautiful view of the mountain. There is a large well stocked kitchen , a dining room , family room with a tv and sound system. There are three bedrooms the master bedroom has a bath. This bedroom has two king size beds. The second bedroom has a King sized bed. The third bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed. There is a beautiful porch in the back with a grill and an ouside dinning area Our host Catrin met us at the house to orient us to the area and the house. She gave us valuable tips on hiking and the best trails to do and things to see Cathrin and Johnathan were very gracious hosts and gave us important information about hiking and the area in general. If you plan on hiking in the Narrows Zion Guru has the best prices on equipment that you will need. The staff at Zion Guru have maps and information about all the hikes in the area. Over all we loved the house and would highly recommend staying there.
