We Invite You

As the way awakens to Spring, at the dawn of the year of Yang Fire Horse, we invite you to step into a sanctuary of renewal in the landscapes of Zion. “ Fortifying the Path is a five-day retreat devoted to harmonizing somatic body, heart, and spirit through the wisdom of tea, qigong, and the unceasing reflections of inner & outer landscapes. Together, we will explore tea meditations that open presence and soften the heart, qigong and somatic practices that anchor vitality in the body, intuitive dance, healing sounds, and creative expression to awaken the inner landscape, and time with the land, infusing the silent language between sky and earth. Each day will unfold as a passage to Arrive, Attune, Awaken, Activate, and Anchor, guiding you through a journey of remembrance and fortification as you prepare for the year ahead.

How to get to Nama-Stay | Zion National Park, UT

Airfare or ground transport to/from Springdale, UT:

We suggest flying in/out of Las Vegas (LAS). They tend to have the best flights and inexpensive car rentals. Then it is a 2.5-hour car drive from LAS to Nama-Stay/Springdale. Closer, but it is often more difficult to find the right scheduled flights and price at Saint George Municipal Airport (SGU). The main carrier is Delta and connects out of Salt Lake City (SLC) and Denver (DEN). From SGU, it is a 1-hour car drive to Nama-Stay/Springdale. If you DO NOT want to rent a car, there is transport available via the Saint George Shuttle. If none of these options work for you, send us an email, and we will try to help ease the logistics and help you arrive!

Jade is the founder of WAOTEA, author of the book "Tea, Remembering the Essence of Life”, and a facilitator of meditative, somatic and creative experiences.

Through the primordial language of nature, tea ritual, Daoist mysticism, mindfulness, and the healing arts — she supports her community in navigating life’s transitions, continually infusing, creating, transmuting, and transforming with it all.

Since 2010, Jade has been sourcing tea for her community from China, Malaysia, Thailand, and Japan, where she has also spent time studying and immersing herself in tea culture. Over the past 15 years, she has studied a variety of practices and systems — including qigong, mindfulness meditation, biodynamic psychology, chi nei tsang, somatic movement, creative writing, and Daoist astrology (BaZi). These studies inspire and shape her approach to healing, encouraging deeper intimacy and coexistence with all parts of life.

Jade offers online courses, in-person retreats and immersions, and tends an online store where her book and curated tea offerings can be found.
